This Is Our Country. Believe it..

On Friday, last 2 days, my classmates, Tee Siang, Hon Wai and I went to Subang together by car. Tee Siang was the driver while I was the director as I know the way better. He was driving carefully all along. There were many lorries and as a result most of the light vehicles were on the right lane, so were we. After we past one of the traffic lights, there was road block. Some of the cars in front of us were being asked to pull over while we were let go until we came to the last officer which is in Sarjan rank. We were accused of bypassing vehicles using left lane. We were so confused as he kept saying "You potong lane". Potong lane dengan gunting a? Sial.. We were on the right lane all the time, how could we be bypassing vehicles using left lane? We only moved to the left lane when we thought one of the officers asked us to go to that lane. 4 out of 5 officers let us go. But the last asked us the pull over. Does it mean that the other 4 are blind that they didn't see us bypassing vehicles by left lane or what.

He took the driving license and start recording what he has to record. We waited for more than 15 minutes as we tried to be sure of what we have prosecuted. While he was doing the explanation which none of them are useful, he directed another car to pull over. A Honda City was pulled over and was allowed to go in less than 10 seconds. Do you think recording driver and car details only take few seconds? I didn't even see the Honda driver taking out his license. You know what it means. Maybe the driver had extra coffee and he gave the officer one. Or maybe the officer ordered a cup of coffee from the driver. The driver came to deliver only. Well, this happens all the time. The officers are working hard under the hot sun. We should treat them some coffee as an appreciation for their hardwork. They deserve it.

We were simply accused of commiting a fault that we ourselves don't even know. He told us that if we don't admit that we are wrong, it is ok, don't pay for the penalty. There was a section where the driver has to sign as a declaration that he has prosecuted the fault. He strongly opposed to sign, which is a right thing to do. He didn't do anything wrong, he don't have to sign. Without any further conversation. We were allowed to leave. I think there is something wrong with the sarjan's eyes. Or he was just very thirsty. If thats the case, sorry, we couldn't help.

Another story of our 'respective' law enforcement officer happened on the same day.

At night, I went to KL for dinner. KL that time was very very jam as a result of in-operatable traffic lights. 2 traffic police officers, with their Honda motorcycle parked in the middle of the road, was directing the traffic. Most of the times, the presence of these officers means worse condition. The condition would'nt be as worse as after they showed up. You will get what I mean after I tell you the whole story.

Vehicles from other lanes were directed to move until the road became loose, while only 4 to 6 cars from our lane are directed to move. See? Out of 4 lanes, more than half the number of vehicles from the other 3 lanes were directed to move. Only 4 to 6 vehicles from our lane were allowed to move. They have been doing this the whole night. No wonder it was so jammed.

The most interesting part is. Both of them ran away in the middle of their operation. Leaving the screwed up condition of the road behind. Traffic lights weren't back to normal at all and they left. After they flee away, car started to move on their own. Traffic started to flow smoothly like it is supposed to.

From this incident, I can say that our law inforcement buddies are so 'responsible'. They messed things up and they leave. So what are they hired for? To mess things up? We pay them for that? They use our money to buy a Honda motorcycle for them to look cool? Balik kampung tidur la. Don't come out kacau only.

This is how our country is being run. This is how our country grows. Slowly and steadily, right? Malaysia Boleh.. Memang Boleh
You might not believe what I'm going to tell you here. But everything is true, though I didn't see it with my own eyes or even feel it myself.

On Tuesday, when I was going back to my hostel, I saw some fragmented concrete along the road. I thought it was caused by some maniac drivers who accidentally hit the roadside, so I didn't pay much attention to it. As I met my classmates, the told me that on past Sunday, a lightning actually struck the roof top of Block F, the place where the fragments were. When I was on my way back to hostel after class, I looked up the the roof of Block F. What I saw was a huge, how to say, a hole, at the roof. Zzz.. Anyway, the fragments droppped and damage the shed below it. Luckily no one was hurt that time.

This is not as interesting as the one I'm going to tell next. Eartquake in Nilai. Shocking.. Yup, you get me right. A minor quake was felt by students on Monday. It was a 5 seconds quake. Everyone went out of their room to see what was going on. Some thought it was some asshole bombing the songs. More hilariously, one of my friends thought it was some effect from the movie he was watching.

Haiz.. I would say it was unfortunate that I wasn't there to witness and experience these two incidents. What a waste. It might sound crazy or stupid, but I really wish I have a chance to experience either one. I don't mind going Indonesia or China, IF I could. Haha..

For A Better World. Lets 'work' together..

People around the world is trying to aid Myanmar and China, countries which were greeted by undefeatable mother nature on 2 and 12 May. Is this the sign that 'the end of the day' is approaching? Last night after watching anime "Gundam Seed", an anime about humanity and war, something came into my mind.

People started war; people started helping; people started hurting mother nature and at the same time healing mother nature. Ironic?? What are we trying to achieve? Balance? When we lose we gain? If old doesn't go new doesn't come? Does this apply to the world we are living in? If it is about bringing the world to a peaceful and healthy environment, why are people fighting for power in order to accomplish that very task? Does what we are is going to affect what we are doing for the sake of a better world? We people talk about saving the world by recycling bla bla bla, but on the other side we are doing the different thing. Wars going on, protest going on...... Do all these save the world? When something unfortunate happened to people around us, only then we will start to realise what is the right thing we should do or perhaps that we should have appreciated it more. Do we have to wait until the 'end of the day' is infront of our very own eyes then only we try to do something about it or cry at the corner and regret?

Many incidents have occured yet people still don't care. Tsunami, Cyclone Nargis, impossible earthquake that happened to unexpected places, all these aren't enough to wake people whom they the say have the "sharp and intelligent brain"?

We always say that we want to create a better environment for our next generation, but we are doing the opposite thing. Things are getting worse as we live. Babies or even infants died in recent nature disaster. How long do you think they actually have seen the world or even enjoyed it? They probably wouldn't want to have lived in a world which is full of anger. Everyday, we are afraid of being robbed, assasinated...... We live in fear. Do we actually prefer the world to be like this?

Movies like Resident Evil, The Day After Tomorrow, etc, have been a warning to us people. Yet, have we taken it in? I don't think so. We are too 'busy' to take it in. We rather protest against the country which is going to host Olympic Games or even quarrel among the parliaments. Go ahead and try to make the country strong and wealthy. Enlarge your territory, take time to vote for a 'better' and 'reliable' leader. When 'the end of the day' comes, you can survive longer. Even for a few days will do you the favour. Or maybe you are waiting for the day to come so that you can show your people what are you capable of until you can change the world and show the people that they have made the right choice voting you. What a GOOD strategy.

New Sem = Stress..

First week of new sem has just ended. Math lecturer just finish teaching us first chapter within 4 hours of lectures. The other 3 subjects will start next week. This is will be more stressful compared to last sem, more work to do. I wouldn't be like last sem, playing around and still can score. This sem, miss 1 class, means miss 1 chapter ><. haiz.. All of us started to worry. Everyone started to work hard. We went to library together to borrow text books and reference books to study. In 2 hours class, we usually ask for break to have some snacks or relax, but this time, we asked for break to do more exercises. All our lecturer were surprised that this batch of students are so hard working. There was one who thought that we wouldn't come for the first class as it was the 'tradition' of the uni, but we all came. She was surprised. This sem there will be a lot of competitors. I have to work harder to stay in place. Haiz.. It the first week itself, we were given assignments already. Although the due date is still few weeks or months ahead, but I think some of us have started working on it. I myself too will be starting one of the assignments soon. Stressfull.. All our lecturers are female. One of them is very very young, 3 years older than me. ><. Out of 4 lecturers, 3 have high requirements. Obviously we will have a hard time. Few of us are already being stressed up by the lectures. Hope all of us will not collapse and score in the end. Gambateh!

HATE LECTURES!! WHERE IS MY LIFE??!! GIVE ME MY LIFE!!

Very bad mood. My laptop started to have problems. Many times it just hang there and never move again. Doesn't recognise devices I plug in most of the time. Shit head.. In addition, I just finished being lectured by THE GUY in my house. F*** it.. Even small matter like mistaken how a flyer was distributed into my hostel room, I was lectured for that BIG matter. WTH man.. Is it very important how it was distributed. What difference could it make? Make things worse? It doesn't even give a shit effect on any matter. And I get it from him. F*** it.. After lectures comes compliment. Bring me down up at the same time?? I don't give a shit of what kind of compliment was it about. I don't care how great it was given. I don't give a damn. F*** it. Pisses me off whenever he lectures. Just pisses me off. Just wish I could quickly have my own life. No matter what it takes, I want my god damn own life. Sorry for being rude but, this is the only place I can release my anger.

JAS!! WHERE ARE YOU??!!
